I have been doing animal rescue and fostering animals, starting in 1986; long before there was ever an animal shelter in our community. 

I have more than 30 years of experience working in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

I have several years of experience working in Human Resources, specializing in recruitment and retention. I am a certified Physician Recruiter, with the Canadian Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (CASPR).

Through my work with health programs and my own personal experience, I am an advocate for mental health awareness and trauma informed care in Canada.

Under Development

An annual bursary/scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing studies in mental health - specializing in addictions, anxiety, depression and PTSD.

My educational background is in business management with a focus in human resources and marketing; that includes a varied and vast skill set in: project/program management, organizational and strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, financial management and administrative processes.
